Pay At The Table With Future POS and FPOS Group

Future POS and FPOS Group have multiple ways to offer restaurants and bars the ability for their customers to pay at the table. Future POS has had this ability with swiping and in the past couple years now have added EMV capability. This technology is available on multiple devices. These devices allow for customers to insert their chip card and pay for their checks right at the table. Additionally, Future POS and Shift4 also have the ability to pay with a QR code. All three of these options allow restaurants and bars the ability to flip tables quicker than traditional paper. Ultimately, this can provide a better experience for customers looking for a quick and sleek solution for their check settling.

First, for those looking for a simple pay at the table experience, the SkyTab device is perfect. If a customer can pay for their gas at a pump, then they can use this device. SkyTab pay at the table allows staff members to hand a device over to the customer. From that point, the customer does the rest and rings themselves out.

Additionally, the device can prompt for a review from the customer. This allows bar and restaurant owners to evaluate feedback about their establishment without having to be there. Better yet, it can alert a manager via text if a certain threshold is not met of a customer's experience. They can then try to address this issue before the customer leaves and correct the mistake.

Finally, the device will prompt the customer if they want a printed, emailed, and/or no receipt at all. This saves staff members time on running back to get a receipt printed off. Even better if the customer elects to just have the receipt emailed to them, or no receipt at all, this saves on paper cost. When the customer has elects to have their receipt emailed Shift4 saves that email address.  This allows for them to be marketed later using the Lighthouse Business Management Portal. The best part of this whole experience is the complete transaction, with tip, syncs with Future POS. This means staff members no longer have to spend time entering in tips.

Secondly, Future POS has a full feature pay at the table device that also allows you to take orders. This mobile terminal has your full menu and screens programmed onto it.  The Quest III device is provided by Shift4 and offers the full experience, just as if you were in front of a regular terminal. This means staff do not have to learn a new way of ordering. Furthermore, with the larger screen comes less button presses. When a customer is ready to settle out, servers or bartenders would simply settle like they would normally. With this device, however, it allows for the customer to add a tip and sign right on the screen.

Finally, Future POS and Shift4 have the ability to add QR codes at the bottom of customer's receipts. This allows the customer to simply scan the QR code and pay right from their mobile device. This is a great option for restaurateurs looking to provide both the old school sign on a receipt way of settling a ticket, and the new school way of paying right from my phone.
